PERKINS, Robert Wayne

Robert Wayne Perkins went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on June 22, 2003. Born in Phoenix, AZ on December 7, 1943 to Ellis H. Perkins (deceased) and Tillie S. Perkins. Robert was the youngest of 4 children, Mary Lou Verdugo (Bobby), Ellis (Sonny) Perkins (Mary), and Shirley A. Perkins (deceased).

Robert was a veteran, served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. Robert married Alicia Ohton on Jan. 20, 1967 and they had 3 children, April D. Perkins Luna (Fabian), Robert W. Perkins, Jr., and Ellis H. Perkins III (Lizet). Also surviving him are 6 grandchildren, Alicia, Genevieve, Christian and Azalea Luna and Ellis H. IV and Ricardo Perkins; and 14 nieces and nephews. Robert was a very kind and loving person to all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Friday, June 27, 2003 with Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may he made to American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016.
