O'BRIEN, Edward J., Jr.

Edward J. O'Brien, Jr., of Phoenix, passed away December 14, 2002. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; daughter, Lynn, of Phoenix; son, Edward, of Scottsdale; sister, Frances Smith of Colorado; brother, Raymond of Kentucky, James of North Carolina; granddaughters, Melissa, Erin and GeriLynn; great-grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Danyell, Katie and Anthony. 

He served in the Army Air Corp in World War II in the C.B.I. Theatre. He moved to Arizona from New York in 1965 and worked in the Aerospace industry until he retired in 1985. He loved the Arizona outdoors and especially loved to play golf. 

Visitation will be held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale on Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20th at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church, 36811 N. Pima Rd., Carefree, AZ. Burial will follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
