Funeral Mass for Marilyn Sjogren, 71, will be Thursday, 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend James Fanrak as Celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5:00 until 8:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:30 PM at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home.
Marilyn Sjogren died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1931 in Citra, FL to Ralph and Cora Roberts Shortridge. She married Donald Sjogren on March 3, 1951 in Chicago. IL.
She worked in cost accounting for Kraft. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Carpentersville, IL in 1989 and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald; son, Allan Sjogren of Seattle, WA; daughters Mary Sjogren of Chandler, AZ and Barbara Laane of Elgin, IL and grandchildren Ericka and Shari Sjogren and Brian Laane. Sister-Dorothy Mavigliano of Silver Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with John Chrenko, Mike Crimmins, Larry Noker, Carl Schefdore, Frank Vlasic, and Clyde Kendzora as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Charities in care of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in lieu of flowers Arrangements will be made by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
