WILSON, William W. (Dick)


William W. (Dick) Wilson, age 78, passed away on December 14, 2002. Bill was born August 25, 1924. Raised in Winslow, Arizona and graduated from Winslow High School 1943. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. After returning from the service he graduated from U of A in 1950. He coached and taught American History at Parker High School, Buckeye High School, and South Mountain High, ending his career as a counselor at Alhambra High School Phoenix, retiring June 1987. Dick is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kay), son David Moline his wife Teniesa, grandchildren Chad and Tasha of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by sisters, Maudene Kasulaitis of Winslow, AZ, Pauline Earickson of Winslow, AZ, Larene Osborn of Carlsbad, NM, Myrl Wilson of Carlsbad, NM, and twin brother Byrl Wilson of Silver City, NM. Arrangements for his cremation have been made by Heritage Funeral Chapel, a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 20th at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, a later memorial service will be held for the family and friends in Winslow, AZ. At a later date interment will be in Winslow Cemetery.
