Memorial services for Mrs. Karen Fuller, 22, who was born in Phoenix and grew up in Wickenburg, were held yesterday in the Presbyterian Church at Los Gatos, Calif.
Mrs. Fuller died Wednesday in a hospital at Los Gatos. She was graduated from Arizona State University and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She had taught school in Glendora and La Mesa, Calif., and three years in Madison, Wis., while her husband attended the University of Wisconsin. She had won recognition was an outstanding teacher in the Los Gatos school system.
At Wickenburg she was a member of the Junior Saddle Club, was a Hospital Day Queen and the first Miss Gold Nugget for the Annual Gold Rush Days.
Survivors include her husband, Dale, and a son, Christopher of Los Gatos; her mother, Mrs. Carl H. Hawkins of Wickenburg; and a sister out of state.
