KARABA, Carmela Mary

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, April 26, 2003 Carmela Mary Karaba, 93, of Phoenix, passed away April 22, 2003. Mrs. Karaba was born on September 2, 1909 in Palermo, Sicily. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony and sons, Joseph and Anthony. Survivors include her daughters, Carmela Stein, Frances Lei-vian, sons, Vincent, Sam, and Martin, three brothers, two sisters, twenty-two grand-children and twenty-one great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Visitation, Sunday, April 27, 2003, 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at A.L.
