Kenneth Robert "Bob" Davenport, long-time Kingman resident, passed away in his home Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. Bob was born Feb. 20, 1942, in Miami, Ariz.
He served in the United States Air Force and was skilled in many trades, working as a mechanic, truck driver, carpenter, welder, and auto body and paint technician.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Millie Kay, and father, Orville Davenport.
He is survived by and will be missed greatly by his children, Harley (Mandy) of Prescott Valley, Lacy Davenport of Dewey, Caleb of Tucson, Christine Davenport and Robert, both from California, and by two grandchildren, Londyn Davenport and Kyler Adams. He is also survived by sisters Helen Hutchins, Charlotte Keller and Victoria Torgerson, and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, in the old sanctuary at the First Assembly of God Church on Gates Avenue. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the church.
