Humberto (Carlos) Sandoval Murillo, 27, passed away Sunday, May 4th, 2003 at his home in Glendale, AZ, surrounded by his friends and family.
Humberto was born in Santa Maria Magdalena, Mexico on March 6, 1976 but has lived and worked in the Phoenix area for the past eight years. Prior to his illness, Humberto was employed at Tungland Corporation where he provided care and assistance to mentally challenged young people and made a positive difference in their lives. They all adored him and will miss him terribly.
Humberto is survived by his father and mother, Ezequiel Sandoval Olguin & Rosalia Murillo Chavez, of Santa Maria Magdalena, Mexico; his brother Antonio and two sisters Susana & Maria, all of Phoenix; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his friend and partner Rodney Baker, who took care of him throughout his illness and provided him comfort till the end.
Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM on Wednesday, May 7th at Best Funeral Chapel, 501 East Dunlap Ave, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Thursday, May 8th at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 8620 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, with interment at 11:30 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix.
