Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 3, 1970 Evelyn R. Baker, wife of Richard Baker, was killed in an automobile accident Saturday evening, August 8, in Gallup. N.M. She was alone and no one else was injured. The Bakers lived here until a year ago where Mrs. Baker was employed at the Bar 7 Restaurant and at the Safeway. Besides her husband she is survived by eight daughters, Teri, Brenda, and Karen Cross, Mrs. Sandra Names, all of Norwalk, Calif.; Celeste, Kimberly, Denise and Debra Baker, all of Gallup; a son, Jimmy Cross and mother Mrs. LaVina Pomeroy, both of Norwalk; four sister, two brothers and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held August 13 in Norwalk with interment in Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, Calif.
