Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 25, 1970, page 11 Charlie D. Hartwell, 77, died June 17 in Community Hospital here following a long illness. A native of Texas, he had made his home in Arizona since the early 1930’s. He was in business in Kingman and in Wikieup before he moved to Wickenburg. Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church, of which he was a member, at Crane, Tex., June 20 and burial was in the Crane Cemetery. Surviving is his wife Alma L.; a son Walter H., Ajo, Ariz., a daughter, Mrs. Virgil Damron, Bisbee, Ariz., three children, five sisters and three brothers, all out of state.
