KRAEMER, Gordon James

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Az December 14, 2005 Gordon James Kraemer passed away Nov. 13 in La Habra, Calif. Gordon was born on Sept. 2, 1924 in Canada. He spent two years in the Canadian Navy before coming to Phoenix, Ariz., in the late 1950s, then to Wickenburg. Gordon was involved in the petroleum industry for many years. He also raised, trained and raced Thoroughbred horses. He and wife Iola purchased Anderson Cleaners, changing the name to Frontier Cleaners, and ran it for 15 years before selling the business and moving to Sun City, then to La Habra, Calif. Gordon was a member of the Elks Lodge in Wickenburg. He is survived by his wife Iola of Calif., daughters Carol and Brenda of Canada and Cheryl and Jo of Calif., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass was held Nov. 16 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Habra, Calif. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
