QUIROZ, Chad Alan

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Chad Alan Poeling Quiroz, 20, of Globe, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. Chad liked being outside riding his four-wheeler; the faster he went the more fun he had. One of his first loves was his candy apple green truck; he enjoyed working on it and constantly talked about it even when he couldn’t drive it. His next love was Shannon and soon after came his beautiful daughters: Nevaeh, he called buttgirl or mama; they would look at pictures in his cell phone together and she would make him lay with her in her toddler bed. And Avah, he called her Bobava and he would always bite her cheeks. He was part of large families that loved him very much and he loved them just as much. He had a huge smile for everyone and his deep voice was very distinctive, especially when he laughed. He loved his Nana’s green chili, Nani’s tamales, Grandpa’s beans and sodas and his Sissy’s Oreo pudding. (If it was edible chances are Chad liked it). He grew up playing baseball with his brothers and had the opportunity of passing that on to others by coaching Little League baseball. He was always happy to help other people. If you were ever waiting for Chad, you knew his favorite phrase was, “HOLD ON, I’LL BE RIGHT THERE!” That didn’t always happen and when he said it you knew you were going to be waiting a while. He will be missed by many but he will ALWAYS be loved. (The man on the moon). Chad leaves behind in loving memory his fiancée, Shannon Goss, of Miami, Ariz.; daughters, Nevaeh and Avah Quiroz, of Miami, Ariz.; mother, April Ellison, of Miami, Ariz.; father and mother, Danne Sr. and Rindy Quiroz, of Globe, Ariz.; brothers, Danne Jr. and Kyle Quiroz, of Chandler, Ariz.; sister, Frankie Quiroz, of Globe, Ariz.; brother, Travis Poeling, of Miami, Ariz.; maternal grandmother, Verna Poeling, of Miami, Ariz.; paternal grandfather, Frank D. Quiroz of Globe, Ariz.; paternal grandparents, Mario and Barbara Olivarez, of Globe, Ariz.; grandparents, Rusty and Kathy Long, of Globe, Ariz.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Chad is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Poeling. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set in honor of his daughters at Bank of America in Chad’s name. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel, 237 S. Sutherland St., Globe, Ariz.
