BRETZ, Charles F.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 29, 1970 Charles F. Bretz, who retired a year ago after nearly 40 years with the Cleveland, Ohio Transit System, died January 23 in Community Hospital here. He and Mrs. Bretz had moved to Wickenburg upon his retirement and purchased the Swanie Jackson home on South Jackson Street. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Howard Blazer officiating and burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Bretz was born April 6, 1905 in Collinsburg, Penna. He started with the Cleveland Transit System as a motorman and was an executive of the company upon his retirement. He is survived by his wife Frances and a niece, Harriet Viering of Cleveland.
