W. L. (Bill) Nawman died in California. The friends he made on visits here will learn with sorrow of the death of W. L. (Bill) Nawman, a veteran of 30 years’ service with Benner-Nawman, Inc., which occurred July 5 in Oakland, Calif.  He was the oldest son of R. B. Nawman, chairman of the board and co-founder of Benner-Nawman.  At the time of his death he was head of Product-Improvement-Product Development and was also a member of the Board of Directors.  The company has announced the appointment of George Croll, plant manager of Benner–Nawman’s Vandalia plant, to fill the vacancy.
