LOWDERMILK, Romaine

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 2, 1970 Romaine Lowdermilk, who died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix, June 23, was well known among the older residents of Wickenburg and throughout his area. He homesteaded the land on the Hassayampa River north of town on which he established his Kay El Bar Ranch which he operated as a cattle ranch and briefly as a dude ranch. Mr. Loudermilk was 80 years of age. Funeral services were held June 26 in Phoenix with the Rev. Lester Maitland of the Episcopal Church in Cave Creek officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Phoenix.
