MYERS, Michael Scott

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Michael Scott Myers, 49, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. Mr. Myers was born Feb. 7, 1961, in Santa Paula, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army from age 18 to 20, and came to Arizona in 1973. He worked for the Coconino County Humane Association and as a bartender at the American Legion. He was a member or the American Legion Mark A. Moore Post No. 3, where he was a past senior vice commander. He loved fishing, sports, his dogs and the American Legion. Mr. Myers is survived by his father, John Myers; his mother, Patricia Jackson; brother Shawn Myers; two sisters Marianne Viviano and Linda Clarkin; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Flagstaff. Condolences may be left for the family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com .
