STOCKARD, Samuel R.

Menke Funeral Home, Sun City, Arizona Samuel R. Stockard, Sr., 81, of Peoria, AZ passed away Feb. 27, 2010. Born in Butler, Pennsylvania, Mr. Stockard has been an Arizona resident for the past 30 years from Michigan. He was a US Air Force Veteran. A steel company and union supervisor, he retired after 33 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Sun City Union Club, Sun City Taxpayers Assn., also was active with the A.F.S.C.M.E. Union in Phoenix. Survivors include his loving friend Linda Hahn; children Donna McKneelen, Colleen Amman, Samuel Stockard, Jr., Robert Stockard, and his faithfull companion "Loo"; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Family services will be held in Detroit, MI and at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
