Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona October 28, 1971, page 15 Catherine Harding - Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Mrs. Catherine Harding, age 79, who died at her home here October 23. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. During World War II days, she and her sister, the late Mrs. Florence White, operated the restaurant on the Phoenix Highway which today is known as Frontier Inn. Later she and her husband, the late Jack Harding, operated a trailer park at Constellation and Jack Burden Roads, and still later the Mexicali Café on Frontier Street. Mrs. Harding was born in Forestville, Calif., and moved to Arizona in 1918 and to Wickenburg in 1940. While a resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, she worked in the post office there for 15 years. She left Wickenburg to live in Bishop, California, where she operated a rest home. She returned here a number of years ago. Survivors include two sisters and one brother, all out of state.
