KINSEY, Alice

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 27, 2003 Alice Kinsey, 85, of Mesa, AZ, passed away April 20, 2003. Alice was born October 3, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office for several years following WWII. She married Frederick Kinsey on May 17, 1948 and soon retired to raise her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter Siena Johnson who died in 1984. Survivors include her husband Frederick Kinsey of Philadelphia, PA; 2 daughters Eileen and Elise Kinsey both of Mesa; 4 grandchildren Jeanetta and Eric Johnson and Stephanie Maiden of Philadelphia and Ayana Brown of Mesa and 8 great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting and gardening. Services will be held Monday, April 28, at 12 Noon at Reliance Funeral Chapel at 6710 N. 47th Ave., Glendale, AZ.
