The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 27, 2003 Bessie M. Medintz, age 93, passed away April 25, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born in New York City, lived most of her life in Chicago before moving to Phoenix. Survivors include her son Marvin (Percy Angelo) Medintz, daughter Mary (Martin) Roth, sisters Belle (Larry) Jacobson, Esther Kahn, brother Bernard (Betty) Greenwald, grandchildren Karen (Frank) Moskowitz, Donna Roth, Michelle (Edward) Gricius, Michael (Michelle) Medintz and Matthew Medintz, great grandchildren Abby, Sarah and Lily Mos-kowitz. She was the widow of the late Michael Medintz who passed away in 1971. Graveside funeral services Monday, April 28th at 2:00 PM in Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale. Bessie was past president of The Rogers Park Chapter of Women's American ORT in Illinois and the family wishes contributions in her memory to Women's American ORT, 7912 E.
