The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 27, 2003 Eleanor Torres, 61, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away April 24, 2003 at her home in Mesa peacefully with her four sons and husband present. She was born and raised in Tempe, then moved to Mesa to raise her own family. Eleanor is survived by her husband, Arthur Sr.; sons: Johnny, Michael, Danny, and David; and 11 grandchildren. Eleanor will always be loved and deeply missed. A wife, a mother, an angel in Heaven. Visitations will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2003 from 6-8 PM, with a Rosary at 7 PM at Meldrum Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2, 2003 at 9:30 AM at Christ the King Church, 1551 E. Dana in Mesa.
