MOORE, Lewis Fisher

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona October 7, 1971 Lewis Moore - Funeral services were held October 4 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Lewis Fisher Moore, who died October 2 in Community Hospital following a long illness. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Moore and his wife had resided in Wickenburg since August, 1964. He was born November 27, 1898, in Bond Brook, N.J. He spent his early years in the insurance business as an agent and supervisor for the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co., and later as General Agent for the Midland Mutual Life in New Jersey. In Bound Brook he served as president of the Kiwanis Club and as Director of Civil Defense. Following ‘Work War II he was representative of Advertising Specialties until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Julia, a son Lewis and four grandchildren all living in Skouriotissa, Republic of Cypress.
