Katherine Ostoich, 74, of Cottonwood, Calif., died July 6 [2003] at U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, Calif. Born in Globe, she worked as an administration assistant for the El Rancho School District in Pica Rivera, Calif. Survivors include her husband, George Ostoich of Cottonwood; one son, Paul Ostoich of Cottonwood; one daughter, Julie Ostoich-Prather of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Rod Babich and Johnny Babich of Globe; one sister, Mary O'Brien of Van Horne, Iowa; and three grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted July 11 at Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson, Calif.
