MCMILLEN, Walter (Walt) W.

Walter (Walt) W. McMillen, 83, passed away on December 10, 2002. Walt was born in Morenci, Arizona on December 29, 1918 to Walter and Josephine McMillen. 

He grew up in Morenci with his sister Anne and brother David. After graduating from Morenci High, he left home to continue his education at the University of Arizona and University of Cincinnati Law School. He served as an Army 1st Lt during WWII. Walt and Jackie divided their time between Cave Creek and Alpine, in beautiful eastern Arizona where they both spent a great deal of their entire lives exploring the beauty of the area. 

Walt is survived by his wife, Jackie, of 31 years; one son, Walter, two stepsons, Chuck (Sharon) & Fritz Teetsel, one brother David, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held at Saturday, December 14th, 1:00 PM at Messenger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 227, Alpine, Arizona 85920.
