Clara Loretta Pooley, 88, died June 5, 2007, in Gilbert.
She was born in Lower Greasewood Dec. 24, 1918. She was homemaker and made Kachina dolls all of her life. Clara loved her family. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1948 and has been an active member ever since that time.
Clara is survived by her children, three daughters, Grace Pooley of Gilbert, Esther Stant of Holbrook and Vivien (Gene) Luikart of Provo, Utah; four sons, Raymond (Lillie) Pooley of Tuba City, Albert (Julia) Pooley of Mesa, George Pooley of Canada, B.C. and LeRoy (Yolanda) Pooley of Avondale; along with 28 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Pooley, parents, five brothers and son-in-law, MacArthur Standt.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m. daylight savings time (10 a.m. Arizona time) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lower Greasewood Arizona with a visitation a half hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a family plot in Lower Greasewood.
