CARLSON, Mildred (Milly)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/23/2003 Mildred Carlson, 95, died at Navapache Regional Medical Center May 2, 2003. She was born in Lincoln, Vermont, daughter of John and Ada (Bent) Davis. Her husband, Carl Arthur Carlson died in 1977. "Milly" lived the majority of her life in Massachusetts, later residing in Texas then Florida before moving to Show Low in 1992. She was inspire to write poetry over the years on various subjects but was best known for her devotional writings. Milly has been a member of the Unity most of her life. She leaves behind a daughter, Lea Carlson of Linden, and a nephew, several nieces and cousins in Massachusetts, Vermont and Texas. A memorial service will be held at Unity of the White Mountains in Show Low Sunday, June 1 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Joan Price officiating. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
