The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 06/03/2003 A memorial service for Edward "Ted" Dush, 78, who died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at his home in Snowflake, will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, June 4 at Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake. Ted was born Sept. 13, 1924 to the late Pirl and Ella Dush of Luthersburg, Pennsylvania. He was employed by the Tucson School District and moved to Cedar Hills in 1979 where he retired from the Snowflake School District in Nov. 1986. Ted was a good friend and neighbor to everyone and worked to serve his community. He was a former president and officer of the Cedar Hills Property Owners' Association. He was married to Marian Elizabeth Miles July 27, 1944. Survivors include his wife, Marian Elizabeth Dush; one daughter, Judith (Bill) Bellini of Tucson; two sons, James (Tracy) Dush of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania; Bruce (Denise) Dush of Show Low; two sisters, Beulah Beam of DuBois, Pennsylvania; Janice Solada of Penfield, Pennsylvania; one brother, Raymond Dush of Brookville, Pennsylvania.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters, son, Richard (Patti) Dush of Snowflake; two grandsons, James E. (Jamie) Dush, Jr. of Curwensville, Pennsylvania; Jeremy Dush of Snowflake, and great-grandson, Richard Bellini of Tucson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to RTA Hospice, 5658 Highway 260, Suite 5, Lakeside, AZ 85929. Arrangements are under the direction of Fletcher's Mortuary in Show Low.
