Wilburn Walter Hickman, born Sept. 8, 1922 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, died May 16, 2003 in Eagar at the age of 80. 

Surviving him are his wife, Gladys L. Hickman; his sons, G. Wayne Hickman of Concho, W. Dale Hickman of Eugene, Oregon; daughters, Dee William of Texas and five sisters who reside throughout Kansas and Oklahoma; and a brother, Marvin Hickman of Stockton, California.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
     
Arrangements are under Jewkes Mortuary of Springerville.
