Dennis Ray Dixon, 75, died June 1, 2003 in Show Low. 
      
Ray was born in Detroit, Michigan, where he was raised until moving to San Diego, California. He moved to Yuma in 1955 and served a short term in the Navy during WWII. Ray moved to Show Low in 1982. He was involved in funeral service for over 25 years mostly in the Yuma area from 1955-1973. Ray enjoyed golfing and fishing.
     
He is survived by his wife Evalyn of Show Low; one daughter, Susan (Jerry) Denbow of Orem, Utah; three sons, Stephen (Mari Jean) Dixon of Payson, Utah, Edwin "Pete" Dixon of Phoenix and Paul Dixon of Yuma; one sister, Dorothy Gourly Shaw of California; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
      
Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 3 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low.
