CHATTER, Timothy


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 06/20/2003 Timothy Chatter, 25, died June 15, 2003 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born in Keams Canyon and attended school in Whitecone and Jedditto before coming to Holbrook where he spent most of his educational years. He later went to work in construction and fencing. He loved horses, enjoyed riding, roping and training them. He was very sociable and looked forward to being with people. He also liked listening to various kinds of music. Timothy is survived by his special friend, Dixie Black of Flagstaff; two daughters, Dominique Chatter, Alishea Nicole Kee; two stepchildren, Jenniece Black and Jeff Black; mother, Ruth Chatter of Whitecone; father, Bennie Chatter Sr.; one brother, Bennie "Sonny" Chatter Jr. of Birdsprings; two sisters, Cindy Morris of Phoenix and Cita Chatter of Whitecone; grandmother, Nellie Hoover of Whitecone; five uncles, Herbert Hoover Jr. of Phoenix, Carlson Hoover of Kirtland, New Mexico, Moran Bob of Tucson, Walter Hoover of Glendale and Bennett Chatter of Keams Canyon; six aunts, Judy Hoover-Lee of Whitecone, Lucinda Nez, Bernice Watson, Bernita Morgan, Cornelia Chatter and Bernadine Chatter, all of Dilcon, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herbert Hoover, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Sarah Chatter; and his cousin, Mark Hoover. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
