Rex Perkins of the Circle City area, died December 15, in Community Hospital, after a prolonged illness with emphysema.
In his younger days he was a cowboy on various ranches in Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Later he was employed as a leadburner at the Stauffer Chemical Co., Henderson, Nevada, for 20 years before retirement.
Survivors are his wife, Reva; a brother, Tony, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Holt, St. George, Utah, two sons, Jerry of Ely, Nevada, and Richard of Sunnyvale, Calif., and six grandchildren.
Burial was in his boyhood home of Overton, Nevada, December 21.
