BLACKMORE, John C.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona April 30, 1970, p. 11 John C. Blackmore advertising sales representative for the Youngtown Record and the Sun City Sun Citizen, died April 18 at the Youngtown Pioneer Mountain View Hospital. A resident of Sun City, Mr. Blackmore was a native of St. Joseph, Mo., and moved as a youth to Evanston, Ill., where he remained for 20 years , and then to Northbrook, Ill. He moved to Arizona in 1962. He was a member of the board of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Sun City. Mr. Blackmore joined the staff of the Youngtown Record, Inc., as a sales representative in 1962. In that capacity, he visited Wickenburg frequently. Previously he had been sales representative for the Gannett Newspapers in the Chicago area. He is survived by his wife, Lorrene of Sun City, and a sister, Mrs. Verne Sauer of Evanston.
