Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona January 21, 1971, p. 15 Elizabeth Shaff - Friends she made while living here from 1947 until 1949 where he husband was local manager for Arizona Public Service Co., were saddened by the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly Shaff which occurred at her home in Phoenix, January 11 following a lingering illness. Mass was said at 10 a.m. January 14 in St. Gregory’s Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Mrs. Shaff, the wife of Leland H. ( Bud) Shaff, was 59 years of age. Born in Bisbee, she moved to Phoenix in 1933 and had lived there since, with the exception of the two years in Wickenburg. She was a member of the Valley of the Sun Kiwanians and a former member of Brophy’s Mothers Club and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. In addition to her, husband, she is survived by two son, Robert L. and James R., both of Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Curtis of Phoenix, and two out-of state; two brothers, Edward R. Kelly of Bisbee, and Maurice J. Kelly of Tucson and a grandson.
