PARKS, Cory David

Cory David Parks was born in San Bernandino, California on March 28, 1989, and was tragically taken from us on November 18, 2002 at the young age of 13. He was a wonderful boy who was always full of life. Wherever Cory went, he would jump, skip, roll or run. He was involved in many sporting activities such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball and bike riding. Cory played the violin and more recently developed a passion for the drums. However, what we will remember the most is the permanent smile on his face and that he was always laughing and making others laugh. Cory leaves behind his father David, his mother Lisa and her fiancee Robert, and two beloved sisters Tabitha (16) and Alexis (5). He also leaves behind two loving grandmothers Brigitte and Olga. His two best friends Derrick and Charles will carry him in their hearts forever. There are so many other family members and close friends who are too many to be mentioned, but are not forgotten. He has touched so many hearts and is now everyone's special angel. We love and miss you Cory! The viewing is to be held at St. Henrys Church in Buckeye on Monday, November 25. All are welcome to speak on behalf of Cory's memory. Services are to be held on Tuesday, November 26 also at St. Henry's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at any Bank One to Lisa Parks in care of Cory Parks. Published in the Arizona Republic on 11/25/2002.
