KANNARD, Jane Patricia

Mrs. Jane Patricia Keating Kannard, (86) widow of Charles M. Kannard, passed away on November 21st, 2002. Jane was born in Washington, D.C. in July 1916. The 6th of 8 children of Ruth Shearer Keating and Major Robert Bruce Keating, an early pioneer family in Arkansas. She lived in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Paris before settling in Phoenix in 1955 when Charles was named Administrator of the Phoenix Indian Hospital. Jane was active throughout her life with the Goodwill Auxillary, Arizona Lupus Society Public Health Service Wives Organization. Jane is survived by her Daughter Bettina Kannard Shaw and Son Robert Bruce Kannard; Grandchildren - Chris Shaw, Melanie Kollar, Kelly Norton, Rick Shaw, Justin Shaw, and Michelle Short; Great Grandchildren - Sarah, Samantha, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Lyndsay, Bettina, Kristin, Katie, Callie, and Chad; Her Sister Peggy Lockwood of Buena Park, CA and Brother Lloyd Keating of Canton, OH; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at the Greenwood Memory Lawn on Tuesday, November 26,2002 for family and friends.
