Howard Earnest Molleur, 73, passed away on April 25, 2003, surrounded by his loving family. Howard was born on August 25, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Ethel and Earl Molleur.
He attended schools in Oklahoma and joined the U.S. Army in 1946. He served in Germany for seven years and participated in the Berlin Airlift. Howard's greatest joy was his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and auto racing with family and friends. A wonderful husband and beloved father, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Fran; daughters, Lucy Molleur, Sandy (Steve) Brooks, Carol (Jeff) Zwiener and Helen Beisgen; son, Brian (Caryn) Potter; grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Webb; Nicole Nolet; Robert and Phillip (Ilyse) McDonough; Erin, Kristin, Daniel and William Zwiener; Melanie Noleen, Steve, Nicole and Matt Potter; Natalie, Cassie and Kaitlin Beisgen; and great grandchildren Jenica McDonough and Kyleigh Potter. He is also survived by his brothers Ken (Ruth) Molleur, Earl (Peggy) Molleur and sister, Dorothy (Bill) Bowman.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, April 29 at Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale.
Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona will follow private family services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
