GRAY, Gladys Nell

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/16/2003 Gladys Nell Gray, 90, died at Navapache Regional Medical Center Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003 in Show Low. Gladys was a teacher, athletic coach for various high schools around the state and for ASU, assistant coach for man's basketball and gymnastics; and belonged to Daughter of the American Revolution. Gladys is survived by sisters, Elizabeth Benson and Georgia Messler; daughter, Copper D. Parker; step-daughter, Carol Morton; nephew, John Benson; nieces, Marsha Hall and Kathy Johnson; grandchildren, William Newman (Rebecca), Susan Benson (John), Danise Landry (David); three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 19 from 6-8 p.m. with funeral service Saturday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the Show Low Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low.
