BROOKBANK, Elaine Juanita (Skeets)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/19/2003 Elaine Juanita "Skeets" Milburn Brookbank Skeets Brookbank, 86, of Show Low died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 in Mesa. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida Feb. 16, 1917. Skeets loved flowers, birds, animals, but especially her family and all the dear friends she and her husband met through the years as they traveled and in serving a mission at the Dallas Temple. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James O. Brookbank; two sons, Allen Dill (Paulette) and James O. Brookbank (Jo); three daughters, Alice Harris (Bob), Polly Cluff (Ron) and Betty Stephens (Ray); 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren who all loved her dearly. Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 18 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Alma 11th Ward, 616 S. Extension Road in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Family Hospice Center of Mesa. Bunker's Garden Chapel handled the arrangements.
