Chris Duane Altaha, 33, died Dec. 10. 2003 in Phoenix. 
      
Chris was born Oct. 1, 1970 and lived in Whiteriver. He served in the Marine Corps from 1990-93.
      
A wake was held Monday, Dec. 15 at his residence in Rainbow, City, Whiteriver with funeral services held Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Seven Mile Miracle Church in Seven Mile with Dr. Timothy Hinton officiating. Interment will be in the Solid Rock Cemetery, Seven Mile.

He is survived by his father, Christian Altaha, Sr.; sons, Regus, Christopher, Adrian and Ali Altaha; daughter, Courtney Altaha; sisters, Christine Hawkins and Carol Cosay; brothers, Jonathan Nastivar and Crispin Marty Altaha; brother-in-law, Eugene Cosay, Jr.; and god-mother Rosemary Pinal along with many nieces, one great niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
      
Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
