LOWRY, Noel A.

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, June 14, 2008 Noel A. Lowry We sat beside him and watched our daddy go. At 1:30 in the wee hours, he went off to a better place. Noel A. Lowry left this place on June 11, 2008. He was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Netawaka, Kan., to Gladys (Thomas) and Arthur Lowry. In 1948, he found our mamma and married her. She was a pretty little redhead by the name of Mae Kennedy. He worked in all kinds of jobs. He was a milkman, worked on the railroad and was a mechanic. When he was a milkman, along came Allen. When he worked for the railroad, along came Diana. About one year later, Steve appeared. He was a sick little guy and didn’t last long. Daddy decided to become a mechanic and along came the fourth and final, Shirley. Daddy moved us all to Arizona in 1960. We’ve all moved away and come back. We all have been married, divorced and had kids. Our life with daddy was for the most part good. When mamma passed, we lost some of daddy. Now he too has passed. No more dementia, no more pain. He’s waiting for his time to be with momma again. He left brothers, and sisters and all kinds of other family and friends behind in Kansas and Prescott. He asked us kids once, “Forget me not.” No flowers, please. Donations may be made to hospice. Information provided by survivors.
