HAMMONDS, Russell Lewis (Rusty), Jr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/11/2003 Russell Lewis "Rusty" Hammonds, Jr. died in Show Low. He was born in Pascogoula, Mississippi and has lived most of his life in Pinedale and Show Low. Rusty graduated from high school in Tucson. He loved the outdoors and he worked for the past several years as a landscaper. Rusty was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. At an early age he developed a talent for art and it was a hobby that he enjoyed through his life. Rusty is survived by his wife, Mary Hammonds of Show Low; daughter, Britney of Tucson; stepchildren, Angela, Jaimee, Joshua, Aaron and Jacob Renmaker all of Show Low; parents, Russell and Diane Hammonds of Union City, Tennessee, and Billie and Joe Reidhead of Show Low; grandparents, Henry and Thedous William of Burton, Mavis Hammonds of Kenton, Tennessee; one brother, Dustin Hammonds of Knoxville, Tennessee; one sister, Sunny Hall of Martin, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stacy Hammonds November 1996. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 9 at the Burton Baptist Church. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements
