Joshua Kessay, 23 of Whiteriver died July 5, 2003.
He was born in Phoenix and grew up in Diamond Creek, until the past ten months where he lived in Tempe with his brother Joseph. He graduated from Alchesay High School with the class of 1999. Joshua worked as a fire fighter and at the FATCO Home Center, and while in Tempe he worked as a Medical Transport Assistant. He was a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and the North Fork Miracle Church. Joshua was a joy to be around.
He is survived by his parents, Preston and Annette Kessay of Diamond Creek; one brother, Joseph Kessay of Tempe; two sisters, Alicia Kessay of Whiteriver and Ericka Pascua of Hilo, Hawaii; one nephew, Samuel K. Pascua and his grandmothers, Luna T. Kessay of Diamond Creek and Dollie Guy of Whiteriver.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m. at the North Fork Miracle Church with a wake beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the family home in Diamond Creek.
Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
