The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/14/2003 Leroy Lupe, 66, died July 8, 2003. He was born Oct. 28, 1936 in Cibecue and lived in Whiteriver-East Fork. He is survived by his spouse Pastor Winona Lupe; daughters, Mona Kane and Michelle Tessay; sons Rev. Michael Lupe and Rev. Samuel Lupe; daughter-in-law, Cheryln Lupe; son-in-law Eric Kane; sisters, Minda Truesdell and Neysa Aquino; brothers, Ronnie Lupe and Arnold Lupe; grandchildren, Timothy Johnson, Sebastian Tessay, Diamond Tessay, Michael Lupe, Tony Lupe and David Kane. Funeral services will be held July 18 at the Memorial Hall in Whiteriver at 2 p.m. with Bishop Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be at White Morning Dove in East Fork. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
