George Wayne Bateman, 73, died July 10, 2003. 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty (Amos) Bateman; daughters, Wanda Caswell, Mary Jane Linn, Gail Busie, Waynette Dodd; along with 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17 with a one hour visitation from 10-11 a.m. at Fletcher's Mortuary in Show Low. Grave side service at the cemetery will be at 11 a.m.
      
Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
