WAKEFIELD, Roy Wayne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/17/2003 Roy Wayne Wakefield, 31, died March 14, 2003 in Phoenix. He was born June 28, 1971, in Show Low. Roy attended Show Low Elementary School and graduated from Show Low High School in 1990. He then enlisted in the USAF and served two years, being discharged due to an injury. Roy is survived by his father Gary Wakefield of Show Low; mother, Royetta of Phoenix; brother, Gary Lynn Wakefield in the USAF in Surprise; two sisters, JoDawn Sykes of Oklahoma and Katie Raynor of Oklahoma; and his grandmother, Maryetta Bunger of Oklahoma. Grave side services will be held Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. in the Show Low Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 9907 of Show Low. Owens Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
