The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/21/2003 Cruz Martinez Armijo Cruz was born May 3, 1920 and past away in Bullhead City July 16, 2003. She was a very loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was born in Silver Creek, and lived most of her life in Navajo County, namely Holbrook, Snowflake and Lakeside before moving to Bullhead City. She was one of five children born to Petra Soto and Encarnacion Martinez. She is survived by one sister Socorro Jaramillo of Snowflake; and one brother, Beno Martinez of Holbrook. She also has two daughters, Mary Lou Ulibarri (George) of Snowflake, Evangeline (Vangie) Johansen (Jerry) of Bullhead City.; two sons, Fostino "Fosty" (Diane) Martinez of Show Low, James Simon (Carmen) of Winslow; also 14 grandchildren; 42 great-great grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren. She has been a fifth living generation for the past 12 years. She was truly loved by all family and friends and will be greatly missed.
