GILLELAND, Olive Blanche

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona January 28, 1971 Had Mrs. Olive Blanche Gilleland lived, she would have been 91 years of age April 4 this year. She died January 19 in Community Hospital here. She had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Calvin Townsend in Wickenburg for the past three years and in Phoenix seven years prior to that. Funeral services were held in Akron, Ohio, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in that city. Mrs. Gilleland was born April 4, 1880 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania and lived in Akron for 50 years before coming west. In addition to Mrs. Townsend, she is survived by three other daughter, Mrs. Jack Brooks, Fremon, O., Mrs. John S. Seawright, Rockville, Md., and Mrs. E. R. Ford, Akron; and two sons, Earl R. Gilleland, Ann Arbor, Mich. And Joseph E. Gilleland, Jr. Fort Worth, Tex.
