Charles Ogg - Funeral services for Charles W. Ogg, 72, who died February 8 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 10 in the First Presbyterian Church here. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott.
Mr. Ogg, a resident of Wickenburg since 1950, was a native of Blackwell, Oklahoma. He came to Arizona in 1926 and lived in Prescott prior to moving to Wickenburg. He and Mrs. Ogg owned and operated Ogg’s Hogan here for many years. The family home was built in the C-4 Tract along Country Club Drive.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Tonkawa, Okla., the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg and the Smoki
People of Prescott.
Survivors include his wife Millie; a son Judge Jack L. Ogg and daughter Mrs. Betty Favour, both of Prescott; two brothers Harry Y. Ogg and G. C. Ogg, both of Tonkawa; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial scholarship has been established at the Navajo Community College in Many Farms on the Navajo Reservation.
