Monday of this week at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for John Dobie, a resident of Wickenburg the past 16 years, who died January 29 in Community Hospital here. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Dobie was a native of England, born in that country April 14, 1883. He came to United States when six years old and lived most of his life in Pittsburgh, Penna., where he was a pipe fitter for the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation before retiring and moving here. He is survived by his wife Martha, two step-sons, Ralph Butler, Sr., of Wickenburg and George Butler of Newport Richey, Florida; a brother, Joseph Dobie of Grove City, Penna., and a sister, Mrs. Martha Harden of Miramar, Fla.
