Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 23, 1971, page 15 Robert Norton – Funeral services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home at 10 a.m. September 16 for Robert Norton, a resident of the Wickenburg area for the past four years, who died the morning of September 14 in Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. The Rev. Bert Follmar of the Calvary Baptist Church officiated and burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery with Masonic graveside services. Mr. Norton, who was born August 8, 1928 in Detroit, Mich., was a machinery builder until ill health forced his retirement. The home here was on the Phoenix Highway at Monarch Wash. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline; a son, Robert, Jr., at home; two brothers, Fred of Houston, Tex., and Arthur, Detroit and his father, Fred R. Norton, Blissfield, Mich.
